Programs & Services
In service to Extended Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten - Fifth grade, we strive to meet the academic and social emotional learning needs of all students, where the student body includes inclusion integration and varied academic levels.
Students' individualized education needs are addressed with active coordination of services and student success teams.
Beyond, and within, the general education classroom, students have access to instructional media technology, personalized learning, computer coding, makerspace, physical education, general music, visual and performing arts. Community partnerships with Living Jazz, Junior Arts & Science Center (Oakland Arts for Kids), Environmental Food & Garden (EFG)/Americorp Program, Diablo Valley Ballet Performing Arts Education & Enrichment for Kids (PEEK) Outreach Program, Palo Alto Rotary Club "Bring Me a Book," Piedmont Rotary Club Holiday Giveaway.
The Ujimaa Foundation After-school at Carl B Munck serves students beyond the regular school day and provides homework assistance, academic and varied enrichment activities, which may include media technology, nutrition, gardening, martial arts, science exploration, arts & crafts, drama and dance.
