Small school, big heart.
Carl B. Munck is a small and welcoming school where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. We teach academic skills through strong routines and hands-on learning, while also helping students grow socially and emotionally. Teachers work closely with families to make sure each child gets what they need to succeed. As part of OUSD, we offer a caring learning environment and a strong foundation for future growth.

Oakland Unified Celebrates Filipino American History Month
It is Filipino American History Month, and we are proud to celebrate along with the Oakland community and the nation, as we do every October. The annual celebration was officially recognized by Congress in 2009. This year’s theme is "Beyond the Margins: Centering Intersectional Filipino American Histories.”
